The Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio is changing due to the combination of fewer jobs at the local rail yards and greater outside interest in local real estate. The current challenge is to preserve Collinwood’s identity and ensure that its residents and workers have a real voice in the unfolding of their neighborhood’s future. The Ballot Box Project will ask residents to vote on community art projects at regular polling events and will also encourage voter registration for the 2016 elections to increase civic participation on both the local and national levels.
