NACEDA
A network of state and regional associations partner with NACEDA to offer creative placemaking community development introduction material using examples of ‘on the ground’ work. In late 2019, they will begin offering training on creative placemaking public policy as it relates to community development. NACEDA’s fee-based training can be customized and is offered remotely and in person in Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Ohio and New Jersey.



AMERICANS FOR THE ARTS
Focus on professional development for local arts agencies, and a wide-range of online and in-person training with relevant training and technical assistance such as public art and civic design, shaping and sustaining municipal/artists partnerships, arts-based community development, arts and civic engagement, cultural planning, evaluation, and social impact of the arts. This free and fee-based training is customizable, open to communities across the U.S and is offered in person and remotely.



ARTUP
Consulting work in the area that includes community-engaged design, workshop facilitation, and project identification and management. ArtUp consultants include artists AND community members trained in arts-based community revitalization, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. They work with urban and rural locations across the country. Based in the Mid-South, they offer customizable training nationwide, in person and remotely.



CENTER FOR COMMUNITY PROGRESS
Learning exchanges include a selected group of participants but most training is free and can also be offered remotely. Learning exchanges have taken place in Albany, NY; Macon, GA; and Kalamazoo, MI. Future learning exchanges will be offered. Sessions are offered at our Reclaiming Vacant Properties Conference. CREATIVE COMMUNITY BUILDERS
Training is offered in community organizing, speaking, facilitation, curriculum development, and planning leading to widely owned community efforts to build civic engagement, cultural bridges, equitable local economic development, and a vibrant public realm. These fee-based services are fully customizable, offered remotely, and in person across the United States and internationally.



DANYA SHERMAN CONSULTING
Danya works with organizations nationally on strategic planning, community engagement, research & evaluation, and program development in the community development, urban planning, and arts fields. Danya develops and facilitates courses, writes reports, speaks publicly, and advises clients in the non-profit, public, and private sectors. Trainings and fees for projects are designed custom for each client.
