CENTER FOR COMMUNITY PROGRESS Learning exchanges include a selected group of participants but most training is free and can also be offered remotely. Learning exchanges have taken place in Albany, NY; Macon, GA; and Kalamazoo, MI. Future learning exchanges will be offered. Sessions are offered at our Reclaiming Vacant Properties Conference, which will take place in Atlanta, GA in October 2019. Check out their publication and webinar. |

CHAMBER MUSIC AMERICA "Sound Places," CMA's pilot program, was initiated to provide a framework for ensembles to do this type of work. They are in the process of retooling their Residency Program to become a Creative Placemaking Program. Thus far, they have created the free toolkit for musicians who are curious about their communities, passionate about civic engagement, and interested in improving public spaces using their music as a catalyst for change but have not otherwise engaged in actual training or technical assistance. |

NACEDA A network of state and regional associations partner with NACEDA to offer creative placemaking community development introduction material using examples of ‘on the ground’ work. In late 2019, they will begin offering training on creative placemaking public policy as it relates to community development. NATIONAL CONSORTIUM FOR CREATIVE PLACEMAKING NCCP's spectrum of learning opportunities for individuals includes webinars, workshops, Leadership Summits, a Certificate in Creative Placemaking. Our place-based educational offerings are one-day Strategy Labs and 6-9-month Community Coaching. Some training is free, some fee based. The on-site portions of the Certificate are held in Manchester and northern New Jersey and workshops are held in Orange, NJ and Philadelphia. Webinars are also available. |
