The Central Mississippi Blues Society are sending a Mississipi all star musician roster to entertain us at our 'BBQ and Blues' event. An amazing line up of talent: King Edward, Lonne’ George, Pat Brown, Abdul Rasheed, Kendrick Hart, James Bell, Rick Lewis, Dwight Ross, Keith Collins, Willie James and Malcolm Shepherd.
Deep Seedz
Deep Seedz is an intergenerational arts collective based in Jackson, MS that aims to enhance artistic skill through facilitation, civic engagement,and cultural enrichment experiences. The collective formed in 2014 with the 5 founding members, (Monica Atkins, Autumn Brown, Jeremiah Henry, Donovan Barner) and has expanded to 14 members whose skills range from audio production, graphic design, music composition, videography, and writing. Deep Seedz released its first collective project, Rooted EP released in 2018 and will be releasing their newest project in Fall of 2019. Performers are: Monica “Surreal” Atkins, Autumn “Ahdum” Brown, Shamar “Kronos” Bronson and Bencuda “KuuDa” Stowers.

DJ Java
With over 10 years of experience as a mobile and club DJ, DJ Java knows how to keep the good tunes flowing. Born and raised in Mississippi, the birthplace of America's music, Java's passion for spinning the good groove runs deep. Always mixing genres and finding the balance between the underground music scene and the glossy pop hits of the day, no matter the platform DJ Java is ready to take his audience on a musical journey. Four Washington
Four Washington is an award-winning sibling singing group from Jackson, MS who recently received two Eddy Awards, one, for Best Group/Duo of the Year and the other for Best Urban Contemporary Gospel song for their first single, “Choose You”.
SING! Jackson
SING! Jackson is a youth performing arts program of the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation that seeks to “Discover, Develop, and Display” the best young talent in the Jackson Metro Area. It is a part of a broader community development initiative that aims to engage, equip and empower young people. Since its formation, more than 30 youth have received vocal training, and have performed and featured at several events throughout the city.
Water Bar
Water Bar & Public Studio is an artist-led benefit corporation based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Water Bar artists work across sector and in community to serve water, build relationships, and transform culture, through the creation of pop-up Water Bar social spaces, and other collaborative education and engagement projects. We utilize cultural organizing strategies to bridge government, business, science research, and community organizations for more equitable and resilient water futures. Come taste a flight of drinking waters from across the Mississippi River watershed, and talk about water with artists and others who live where this water was gathered. www.water-bar.org
