SET IN STONE: BUILDING AMERICA'S NEW GENERATION
A report on Cultural building in the United States, particularly in regard to the landscape of cultural building, the investment determinants of cultural building, the feasibility of cultural building projects, case studies of cultural building projects, and the effects on communities in which cultural projects are built.

NATIVE AMERICAN CREATIVE PLACEMAKING
That "Placemaking was always known to Native Americans" undergirds a new "Native American Creative Placemaking" report from HAC which examines some Native American creative placemaking efforts while offering a first of its kind interactive map. The paper also notes funding sources and emphasizes that placemaking “offers Native people on opportunity to reconnect with their traditional ways of life” as an antidote to injustices including forced assimilation, trauma in boarding schools, and extreme poverty.

PLACEBASE PRODUCTIONS
There have been a host of studies in recent years regarding the powerful connection between the arts and community development. PLACES IN MAKING
The current diversity and breadth of placemaking projects and processes is both a vindication for placemaking and a challenge for advocates and thought leaders as they seek to hone the placemaking message and develop a collective case for relevancy. How will the placemaking movement channel its tremendous momentum into positive results for communities and places? This research with in-depth case studies begins to answer this question.

DOING WELL AND DOING GOOD BY DOING ART
Are there connections between involvement in arts learning and general academic success? In 2009, this researcher analyzed ten additional years of NELS data related to the previously studied students, then age 26. The results strongly connect arts learning with both general academic success and pro-social outcomes (i.e., outcomes such as volunteerism, involvement in the community, or civic participation).

POLICYLINK'S CREATING CHANGE THROUGH ARTS
Arts and culture are essential for building community, supporting development, nurturing health and well-being, and contributing to economic opportunity. This report highlights both promising and proven practices that demonstrate equity-focused arts and culture policies, strategies, and tools. The report describes the role of arts and culture across the nine sectors. Within each policy chart there are goals, policies, and implementation strategies that can help achieve communities of opportunity. 

2018 ANNUAL ARTPLACE SUMMIT VIDEO ARCHIVE
Our 2018 Annual ArtPlace Summit in Louisville, KY, gathered our community of colleagues from the field of creative placemaking – projects and organizations we have been able to support, our foundation and government partners, and the researchers, advisors, and colleagues who help shape our work. With Louisville as our cultural backdrop we heard from national and local leaders on some of the most pressing issues facing our field and our communities. 2017 ANNUAL ARTPLACE SUMMIT VIDEO ARCHIVE
In 2017 we gathered our community of colleagues working on creative placemaking for our Annual ArtPlace Summit. The Summit took place in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest gave us a beautiful backdrop to hear from national and local leaders on some of the most pressing issues facing our communities, including immigration, housing, environment, and the rural urban cultural divide.
