Miami, FL as a strong and vibrant cultural life, anchored with institutions like the Perez Art Museum Miami and neighborhoods like the Wynwood Design district. YoungArts recently acquired the former Bacardi headquarters and is in the process of working with Frank Gehry to transform it into a multidisciplinary cultural campus celebrating student and young-adult artists. The three "Outside the Box''  outdoor performances held so far have brought new and varied audiences to YoungArts to experience dance, music, spoken word, cinema and virtual reality events. This programming has the potential to expand the vibrancy of the growing cultural district into the light-industrial neighborhood bordering YoungArts’ campus.
