Updates
It has now been more than a month since Silent Lights was completed. We are pleased to say everything is running smoothly at the site. This winter has been unforgiving to NYC, and we sure have had our fair share of snow and arctic temperatures, but the gates seem to really love the cold! We are glad that the archways are staying lit, and providing a little moment of distraction in the drab commute.

Offsite, we are getting ready to organize the workshops for teens with DLFNY and Red Hook Initiative.

Recent Wins
We are pleased to have received some great press, Silent Lights appeared in Core77, Inhabitat and Metropolis. Dwell has also shown interest in featuring the project in its online edition.

Insight/Provocation
We are delightfully impressed by the endurance of the LEDs lights in the piece, we have been checking up on the installation and noticed that on one day when the temperature reached the sixties, one of the gates was not lit. This leads us to think that by spring, everyone will surely welcome warmer weather but our installation might need some maintenance, as it seems to prefer a continuous winter wonderland.
