The Creative Corridor received its 12th and 13th awards, this time for the Low Impact Development Streetscape on Main Street at the March 17, 2016 meeting of the American Council of Engineering Companies Arkansas Chapter (ACEC Arkansas).  The Water Resources Award and Grand Conceptor Award for the overall top-rated project was presented jointly to the engineering design firm Crafton Tull and the City of Little Rock.  The streetscape, also known as the Main Street Water Quality Demonstration Project, was funded by a grant from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission and the City of Little Rock.  The project helped serve as a catalyst for much of the re-development in the area, with over $100 million in commitments and completed projects to date.  "I am extremely proud to see this concept of highly functioning low impact development come to fruition, said Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola.
