The mission of Building a Better Modesto, the museum’s creative placemaking program, is to support the well-being of the people of Modesto through art, architecture, design, landscape, and history in a way that is of, by, and for the people of Modesto. The program includes:

Modesto Architecture, Landscape, and Urban Design Center

Modesto History Center
