Music In Place Podcast

MUSIC IN PLACE PODCAST
Music in Place is a show from the Harrison Center that focuses on place-based music. Many genres of music emphasize place, rooting the song and the musician in a particular style, tradition, or the culture specific to a region or city. Much of our work at the Harrison Center emphasizes and explores place-- in our case, our city and home of Indianapolis, Indiana. The songs you’ll hear on Music in Place have been specifically written to celebrate Indy, its culture, people, and history by resident musicians at the Harrison Center.

Here are communities that produce incredible feats despite being terminally under-resourced, and despite systemic neglect that has persisted for generations.
