CITIES REMIX A PLAYFUL PLATFORM / EXPERIMENTS TO EMBED POKEMON GO
The 2018 report, “Cities Remix a Playful Platform,” reveals how cities can embed popular platforms for augmented reality (AR) in local events and campaigns — from walking tours at neighborhood libraries to Open Street Festivals. The report offers case studies and lessons learned from trials conducted in 2017 in five cities to engage players in local activities.

THE ASSEMBLY: CIVIC DESIGN GUIDELINES
The Assembly Guidelines capture the culmination of four years of research and collaboration—with input from 200+ studies, 50+ cities, and dozens of expert advisors—to provide evidence-based design and maintenance strategies for creating cities where people trust each other, have confidence in local institutions, and actively work together to address local priorities.

WHAT ARE THE PARADIGM SHIFTS NECESSARY FOR THE ARTS SECTOR TO NURTURE THRIVING INSTITUTIONS OF COLOR? 
Yancey Consulting asked the question whether sustainability is the true intent. Is the desire for organizations to “maintain [their] own viability” or be “able to be supported with the basic necessities or sufficient funds”? We found that sustainability is the start but not the end. Findings are intended as critical steps in creating a more equitable environment for historically disinvested arts and culture organizations to thrive.

Helicon Collaborative was commissioned to lead research to better understand how creative placemaking is advancing sustainability outcomes for communities which included the environmental areas of energy, water, land, waste, toxic pollution, and climate resilience and adaptation. Regardless of the specific issue, Helicon heard repeatedly about five priorities that environmental sector leaders believe will either drive progress or hinder it.
