ArtPlace: 10 Years tells the story of ArtPlace America. ArtPlace brought together a range of private philanthropy into coordinated partnership, then funded nearly 300 creative placemaking, placekeeping, and placetending initiatives across the country.

Transforming Community Development Through Arts & Culture

TRANSFORMING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ARTS & CULTURE
The new edition of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Community Development Innovation Review explores an evolving era in community development that infuses art and cultural practice with that of community development organizations to help residents reclaim community identity, strengthen cultural resilience, and build power to shape neighborhood planning.

NCCP

NATIONAL CONSORTIUM FOR CREATIVE PLACEMAKING
NCCP's spectrum of learning opportunities for individuals includes webinars, workshops, Leadership Summits, a Certificate in Creative Placemaking. Our place-based educational offerings are one-day Strategy Labs and 6-9-month Community Coaching. Some training is free, some fee based. The on-site portions of the Certificate are held in Manchester and northern New Jersey and workshops are held in Orange, NJ and Philadelphia. Webinars are also available.

Our 2019 Annual ArtPlace Summit in Jackson, MS, gathered our community of colleagues from the field of creative placemaking – projects and organizations we have been able to support, our foundation and government partners, and the researchers, advisors, and colleagues who help shape our work. With Jackson as our cultural backdrop we heard from national and local leaders on some of the most pressing issues facing our field and our communities.
