We have been very busy informing our community for our first Community Dinner that will be held on September 23rd. At the dinner, project staff and consultants will present historical information of the actual grant itself as well as work that has been completed to date, and the philosophy of ArtPlace about this being a Community project.
The project is community oriented, we want input from our community on the design and actual placement. This will be an opportunity for our members of the community to contribute and let the staff and consultants know how they envision this project. Design of the Longhouse Pavilion will be taken directly from community input at this meeting, this will be the communities only chance to voice their ideas for the design. As followed we will be doing a workshop on September 24th and 25th to determine at actual design of the Longhouse Pavilion, there will be an open house where the results of the design workshop will be displayed.
